A Community Collaboration Mural for Sunset Park, Tell City
COMPLETED - September 2023. The Floodwall at Sunset Park, Tell City will be getting a newly painted addition. Plans for the "Why We #pickperry" Community Collaboration Mural features nature, activities and landmarks of Perry County, Indiana. This mural is brought to you by Tell City Regional Arts and Colleen Reed. We are seeking individual artists from Perry and surrounding counties, as well as sponsorship from small businesses and local corporations.
When completed, the mural will resemble a 48 count jigsaw puzzle spotlighting tourism and attractions from Perry County. If you are interested in painting a portion of this mural with us, visit our website for an Artist Application Packet. Businesses wishing to make a monetary donation, or to secure a spot for advertisement on our wall, can download a Sponsorship Packet to review detailed instructions.
Since the mural embraces community activities, Tell City Regional Arts and Perry County Public Library are partnering to host a Mural and Music Fest in the park. To kick off the first Paint Weekend, we are assembling a fun filled day with music, food trucks, and local refreshments. Save the date, Saturday June 10- we will be advertising specifics about this corresponding celebration as we get closer.
Coming Soon, SPRING 2024. The back of the Dauby Building, the home of Advanced Rehab, Inc., Coll Neu Photography and Tell City Regional Arts will have a facelift projected to finish in May 2024.
