Are you looking for something FREE and enriching right here in Perry County? Tell City Regional Arts has a new gallery exhibition on display now thru Jan 14. This exhibit features local artists and art of all mediums. Judges were brought in from Perry Central High School and Cloverport, Kentucky to help determine three deserving cash prize recipients for Best in Show, Runner-up, and the Merit awards. After careful consideration of subject matter, material, execution and presentation they picked out these winners:
Best in Show - Jennifer Zingg, "Beneath the Waves of Maho" - Mixed media mosaic featuring calabash (gourd).
Runner-up - Laurie Dinkel, "Sun-
bathed Fields" - Pastels.
Merit - Jaidyn Horrom, "Dishes" - Oil on canvas.
Tell City Regional Arts is open most weekends Saturdays 10-2 and Sundays 12-4, however hours may vary around the holidays.
