How TCRA worked around the pandemic, loss of donations, and 6 feet apart
Looking back on 2020, the pandemic definitely challenged the landscape of how we promote the arts in our region. The pandemic itself galvanized our already strong community. More importantly, it taught us that we can still come together during a crisis. As we look to the future, and the world starts to open up again, we need to embrace what we’ve learned from this past year: the need for open communication, the power of coming together. At right, an infographic lookback at 2020 and how TCRA prevailed.
Numbers Don't Lie
With receiving little donations, coupled with Covid restrictions, TCRA was challenged to get creative in how we continued our mission to facilitate the arts. The infographic illustrates 22 events with approximately 568 in attendance. Although we abided by state and CDC regulations, we were able to host online contests and provide art opportunities where social distancing was in implemented.
